has anyone purchased breakfast/lunch snacks for getting ready rooms?

i would like to have snacks & beverages for me & the ladies as well as my h2b & his guys as we get ready in our rooms before the wedding. i figure someone will want a snack or need some pick me up. can i just prepay an order for each room through in room dining? i dont want to have money/cc on me or have to worry about messing with a server while i'm getting ready. has anyone done something similiar?

Hey there....

Not sure if this will help, or if this is an option... but the day of the wedding the girls and I got ready at the GF convention center, and in the morning my mom ran to Publix (right outside Disney - grocery store) to get a ring of subs, fruit and veggie trays, along with a cheese tray. We were getting ready from 12 - 4 (when pics started), and mom wanted to be sure everyonehad enough food in them!

For the guys, my Dad and Step-Father took all the guys out to eat at the hotel. They had more time to do stuff.

I know you can talk to your EM about having trays of food delivered to the room where you are getting ready (Ex: mini snadwiches, desserts, etc...).

That sounds like a great idea!!!

Maybe you can have one of your bridesmaids or friends run to the Beaches and Cream and pick up something.

Or depending on how much money you want to spend, you can probably get the restaurant to deliver sanwiches and snack trays. I know that the Yacht Club Galley does B,L&D so most likely it will be open when you are getting ready.

We are having our vow renewal in December and I never thought about having food brought in. I'll be staying at the Yacht Club so I guess I'll consider it now. Thanks.

We got ready in the morning at the Boardwalk. My dad went down to the bakery and brought back assorted baked good for everyone. It worked out great!
