Has anyone placed a luggage tag on a cardboard box RECENTLY?

(Yes, we do have proper suitcases!) I would like to ship a box of diapers and wipes to the Hyatt MCO ahead of time and then take the box to the port, slap a luggage tag on it and let it be delivered to our stateroom with our bags.

I have searched on the boards and the most recent conversation I found took place in 2014. I simply would like reassurance that I can still do this. (On our other cruises, I used the Babies Travel Lite service. Alas, they no longer exist.)

Thanks in advance for any insight! This board is a fantastic resource.

I just did this 2 weeks ago, we were doing an ornament exchange and I had ours secured in a box with the luggage tag running right down the centre. I didn't have any problems.
Good luck

Good call on shipping the diapers and wipes. We packed what we thought was an appropriate amount based on past usage, plus extras for a few rough days. By the time we got to the first stop after 2 sea days, we had to hit up a convenience store (which was surprisingly cheaper than back home) due to a tough adjustment to a new routine and different foods. We drove down, so we just had a suitcase of baby stuff we put the tag on. The plan was to use the empty space from the diapers, food, wipes, etc to store goodies in on the return trip. We had too many goodies. Go figure! Have a great cruise!
