Has anyone paid for Pal Mickey and regretted it?

Thanks so much for starting this thread. I too was in two minds whether to buy one for a memento but was concerned about carrying it round. My kids are older 14 and 16, and are not interested in it. I think this thread has confirmed my fears about it and I am not going to purchase one.

We bought one for our trip last August for our DD4 and DD6. Neither liked it very much because it was hard to carry. I did not like carrying it. It ended up in the bottom of the stroller and was hardly used. When we went back in December, it was the same thing. IMHO, a real waste of $60.

Dh and I rented a PM with the intention of purchasing one last August. Well we did not even make it to 12pm before we returned PM. We found the volume to be very low, cumbersome to carry around and not helpful at all. So we returned it got our deposit back and went on our merry way without PM.

I brought one when we went last December. It was cool while we were there but when we got home we just put him in the corner with the rest of the stuffed animals. I know he plays games but we just never bother.

I think it is easy to get carried away with the flow and think hey that would make a good memento especially when you read other people saying how they love him. I think it is the carrying around which would bother me plus the fact everytime you went on a water ride you would have to be really careful with it, not to mention not getting it wet in any of those heavy downpours Florida has.
