Has anyone ordered clothing from Disneyshopping?

Just wondering how the sizes run. I know that in the information it gives an idea of the s, m, l but was wondering if they run bigger/smaller and how much shrinkage for washing. I want to buy a couple of those personalized sweatshirts for the girls for our Dec trip. Thinking it might save me a few bucks if we have sweatshirts before we go!

i've heard they run small. at least with sweatshirts it's o.k. for them to be a bit baggy (you can wear a t-shirt underneath).

i ordered some matching t's for our family to wear.

I ordered sweatshirts for the 10 children in our group last December. We had to return them all and re-order because they were ALL too big. (We had placed our order exactly by the size chart on-line.) I ordered T-shirts again a couple of months ago, and again they were all much bigger than I thought they would be.

Neither the sweatshirts or the t-shirts shrunk. They both were cotton/polyester blends. I was very pleased with the quality.

We were able to return the sweatshirts to a local Disney store - and they were all personalized! They were very good about it. When we ordered, the terms said that we could return anything so I called and checked about that since we were ordering something personalized. They said, "No problem." And it wasn't.

I just ordered Halloween costumes for my kids and went with one size smaller. Hope it works this time! :)

I have found things to be true to size. However, the sweatshirt I ordered seemed a little smaller than a normal sized sm sweatshirt. It's more fitted than baggy.

I'm not sure how much help this will be...everyone seems to have differing results. The 4 t-shirts I ordered this summer were all BIG. I hope DD11 &DS7 do a lot of growing before our trip next May. (I should've exchanged them but I did not).

I appreciate all the comments. I really actually hope they run a little big. I have 3 preteens and they all prefer them a little baggy. I haven't gotten an email when they will be sent so I will just keep my fingers crossed they fit!

The T-shirts I have bought from the Disney Store for my daughter have run large. They are the same ones you can buy through Disneyshopping.com. With this in mind, I ordered my daughter's halloween costume (Tinkerbell) in the size she currently wears, 7-8, and it was too small. The PJ's I have bought for her have run true to size. It may just depend on the particular item you are ordering. Good luck with your purchase.

I have yet to figure out the sizing for them. It just varies so much, depending on what you order. Some things run SO small (PJ Pals -- snug-fitting) -- others run very big (Disney logo shorts -- ordered a size to fit my DD(2) for next spring but they actually fit my DS (6). As far as adult clothes, I still can't figure out what to order. I can never tell what size to order for myself -- some things I wear one size and then the next item, that size will be too small for me. Go figure!

One thing to keep in mind -- they will no longer allow you to return things from the catalog or online at the Disney Stores. That's such a bummer for me! That way, if I thought there would be a problem, I'd just order both sizes (if there was free shipping) and return the one that didn't fit. I can't do that anymore! Oh well, maybe that will save me money -- I won't buy as much this way!

Good luck! I have always been impressed with the quality of the clothes. I've never had a problem with things shrinking -- even the PJ Pals, even though they are snug-fitting, they didn't seem to shrink too much, or if they did they stretched back out.

Ditto ditto ditto! Especially the part about not shopping there NEARLY as often since I can't return to the store anything that doesn't fit. In my experience with disney.com then disneydirect.com- the sizes of various things really does vary bigtime! I can buy one shirt in one size that fits one of my kids perfectly and buy another type of shirt in the same size and it won't fit that same child! Even the costumes were weird- the Incredibles were HUGE and long on my kids- bought very same sizes in Stitch and Power Rangers and they fit perfectly. Go figure. I won't be buying clothes from them since I can't return what doesn't fit properly to the store. As it was the store is a 40min drive each way- that was bad enough. I'm NOT going to be out the return shipping then waiting for a refund (and worrying about whether they'll receive it or paying extra shipping for confirmation of the fact they received it) on items that the size doesn't fit. they'll be losing a lot of business from me because of this. I realize WHY they are doing this- because the Disney Stores were bought out by The Children's Place but still- the varying sizes and having to pay return shipping if you return... cuts me out of buying from them online anymore. Maybe PJs because those if they are a bit tight or a bit big it's not a big deal.. but not clothes!

As quoted above- I found the varying sizes were even worse on the adult clothes. HUGE difference in like one pair of shorts size medium and another pair of shorts size medium. One time I bought a pair of shorts size small and they were too big for my husband!!!! Ridiculous. But that was on the blue logo shorts and those were ALL huge on the sizes. I had to return them all (to the Disney store which I can't do anymore) and buy super small sizes for all of us... like my daughter who usually wears size S I had to go XXS, my son who is medium on most things had to have XS, my daughter who usually wears large I had to get S... who could know that from just looking online that they'd have the sizes so out of wack on those? Without being able to return at the store and having to pay return shipping- I can't take that risk anymore. :(

Since the PJ pals are meant to fit snug, I always order them a bit big. My son is in a 7 and I ordered him a 10 and my daughter is in an 8 and I ordered her a 12. I know...they're meant to be tight...and they still aren't "baggy" by any means...and this way they can wear them for a whole year at least.

Bathing suits DEFINATELY run small in my opinion. I bought my dd a suit once that was sized 18 mos and she was in a 6 mos...and the suit was still too snug in some places!

I just ordered DD a sweatshirt a size up (L 10-12) from disney shopping and when it came in it was pretty big! I'm hoping it will shrink some but I highly doubt it. I'm hoping she can wear it during our trip this chirstmas. Mabey she'll have a major growth spurt before then? Oh well...if not she can just roll up the sleeves or save it for next trip.
