Every year there are people on here who do not get their reservations for free dining. Some people chose to stay in a different hotel. Others chose not to go. Don't forget, just because the hotel has availability...it doesn't always have "free dining" availability. That being said, we've always gotten it because we 1) stay on top on it, 2) have an existing reservation that is just modified to include free dining and 3) we call THE DAY it's announced!
Piggybacking that thought...lots of people also don't get their top choice of ADRs. Free Dining was announced this week but August/Sept ADRs have been available for over a month. So while the parks may be empty...the restaurants are PACKED.
