Has anyone hit Costco near DL?

I remember seeing it not too far away when I went out to get my son some medicine our last trip in December. I was thinking to myself that would be a quick trip to grab a $10. pizza, or maybe a chicken, or gosh, how about a $1.00 churro!

I know I could easily send my husband out to gather stuff while I took the kids swimming, etc.

Anyone taken advantage of this?

I too would be interested to hear how accessible Costco is. And we could stop and get gas there. YAY!

It is in Garden Grove near main street. We love costco and always go to this one. We have relatives buried in Orange so we get snacks, food and flowers. I don't remember there being gas there but, Please know I wasn't looking. the parking is hard and small at this location someone might know of a better one.

There is also one in Fullerton on Harbor blvd. According to the Costco website it has a gas station. It is 3.4 miles away from the HOJO. It is also down the street from the Character Wharehouse.

I was at the Costco on Harbor in Fullerton on Saturday, Gas was reasonable for California, and they seemed very helpful. John

That's a fun idea! I just looked at Costco's website and it says that both have gas... although I'm not sure I want to know the price, as they all scare me now!

We went to Costco because I lost my swimsuit in San Diego before we got to DLH and I wanted a new one. There are a couple within 3-4 miles of DLR. I think the one we went to was down Harbor about 4 miles. Lots of stop lights though, so it took a while. There's also an In N Out Burger in the same shopping center as Costco, which is always good for a meal.

Yup, that sounds right. There is also a Target on Harbor going that way. The COstco is past Orangethorpe. It has it's own little street called Costco Way.

Yes, it's in the same lot as In-N-Out Burger. You'll see In-N-Out first, just continue to the next light and turn right. Or do what I do, continue past the light and turn right into the next driveway.

yeah, if you want to go shopping and need a place for the kids to go, theres also a laser tag play place in the same plaza as well as a movie theatre.
