Has anyone hired a house/home in Canada

Hi

Dh and I want to go to Canada next May/June. We want to hire a house/home rather than a hotel. We want to visit Ontario. See Toronto and Niagra Falls. We wont be able to afford to see British Columbia or anything. We might pop over to Montreal Quebec. We are on a tight budget, but we really want to see Toronto and Niagra.

Has anyone been there or can recommend any sites. I have spent hours looking for a good site, but cant really find any.

Alternatively look at hiring a motorhome, we hired a 28ft with slideouts last year and did a tour stopping at Niagara, Toronto, London,Barrie,Sault St Marie amongst other places, campsites were incredibly well equipped and very very cheap, around £20 for the night. It was a great way to see Canada.
