put a hitch on your carts? We want to put one on ours to move our trailer around.

If anyone has was it hard? Any special trick to it? Seems a little challenging because of the place where your feet can sit if you are on the backseat.

Thanks guys.

A golf cart can only pull so much weight, what kind of trailer are you trying to pull?

I don't have a hitch yet but, with all of the different accesories out there you should be able to find one that won't be to difficult. Now, rigging up the fiver to haul our cart down,,, that was difficult.:scared: :scared1:

We have a hitch on our golf cart which my DH rigged with a flat 1/4" steel plate and a 2" ball. We only pull the trailer we use to haul the cart with. I wouldn't try anything heavier.

We wouldn't pull anything heavier then the small enclosed trailer that it will be riding in. DH has already checked the weight stuff out. I leave that stuff up to him.

Thanks des1954 I will give dh that info. BTW, I love your otter picture. It is otter this world.
I just can't help myself now when I see otter after that otter thread. lol

You're welcome!!! I couldn't help becoming the "otter-spotter" after my previous post of spotting a family of otters at the fort! Talk about an innocuous thread gone south!! (But fun!)

I otter know better!! :rotfl:

We have a hitch on our golf cart; as do many of the people in my community. We have pulled our double jet ski trailer, complete with jet skiis and have had no problems. We have also pulled our 6 x 12 enclosed Pace trailer around the yard. As long as you don't strain it, you will be fine. All golf carts have different levels of power so I would just start slow pulling and see how it acts.

Thank you.
How did you go about installing your hitch? Do you have a backseat on your cart? Just trying to find the right way to hook it up.
