I never knew this thing existed, but I am horribly addicted to finding cool new and old music....oh, and the remixes are amazing. The library of music available is pretty extensive. I found old 20 Fingers stuff, old Jimmy Summerville, Nine Inch Nails, Johnny Cash, Indigo Girls, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Francine Reed, Terri Clark, B52's, and so much more.
I would have never found it had I not tried out a new "virtual world" game called SmallWorlds. In SmallWorlds, you have your own space/room/home. One of the things that you can "buy" for your room is a stereo that uses SeeqPod to play ambient music for your room. I can't wait for the bugs to get worked out of SmallWorlds, so that I can play it more and know that the stuff that I collect is going to always be mine, because when the beta testing ends, all of my cool stuff goes away, but at least now I can keep the music!
SeeqPod is free, but if you register, you can create a whole bunch of playlists that you can edit to enjoy for multiple occasions and moods. I realize that technology is getting to the point where the cool new stuff is usually something that I find way after it's completely old news, but I figured that I should share this in case there is anyone here less up to date than I am. lol
