Has anyone here had the Essure procedure done?

I have a referral to see a GYN for the Essure procedure where they insert the coil in your fallopian tubes for sterilization purposes. If you have had this and wouldn't mind sharing your experiences, especially after the procedure, I's appreciate it. Thanks.

I looked into this last year (I decided not to b/c I'm healthy and only 25 and might change my mind about kids down the road) and I did a lot of googling and reading. It sounds like a good option, but I read some pretty awful stories as well. My point being I can't give you an opinion, but there is a lot of information out there so at least you can get an idea before your appointment so you know what questions to ask.

Well, I'm in my 40s so I know I'm done having babies, but because the procedure is somewhat new, I am trying to find out all I can. It certainly seems easier than a tubal.
