Has anyone here attended the After Dark Star Wars night before?

I saw today that Star Wars night will be back in 2022 and I'm wondering if anyone has feedback on previous Star Wars nights. Was it worth the cost, were you able to do all the activities advertised etc?

It looks super fun!

Also...Do the tickets for it sell out fast? They go on sale on the 11th and I want to make a plan to grab some if we decide to go.

I'm not sure they ever held a previous Disneyland After Dark/Star Wars Nite. I only ever heard of the 2020 event, which of course was canceled.

The tickets for the 2020 event went fast, but it was only one night and during Star Wars Celebration, so a large built-in audience. For 2022 they expanded to 3 nights, 2 of which aren't during Celebration. But many tickets may be already spoken for, since 2020 ticket holders could elect to move their tickets.

Nice that Galaxy’s edge is part of it. Just be cautious and notice in the information that ROTR is not guaranteed to be operational.

I went to Star Wars night a few years back...can't remember the year...2018 maybe?, but before Galaxy's Edge opened and they had panels with the people building the new land as well as some other stuff. Most people wasted the night in line for merchandise that you could literally purchase the next day at the park. There were some great photo ops. The lines for non-Star Wars attractions were short and they had special fireworks, lightsaber duels, etc. I believe there was a parade as there were definitely droids on Main Street. The year I went, tickets sold out within a day I think. It might be even harder this year because all the ticket holders who were forced to cancel are getting an opportunity to switch out for tickets for this year if I remember correctly.
