Has anyone heard from Rabbitsz lately?

I had booked a limo with one of Rabbitsz competitors but really wanted to use Yourride, as Rabbitsz is a sponsor of the boards. I e-mailed him and he responded with a question about my e-mail over a week ago. I replied to him twice without a response from him. Since I replied to his e-mail it should have gone to the correct address, but he has not answered either of my e-mails!

Since I am the trip planner, and the rest of my family is along for the ride, I am trying to make sure everything is perfect. Arriving at MCO at 11 PM without a ride to our hotel would not be very well received by my family. The one thing that I have been worried about booking is the transportation piece. The lack of response is not helping me!
 
I didn't get a response from him via email either. I had to call him on his toll free number. You can get it from his website. YourRide is no longer a sponsor on these boards, though.
 
When we called, the person that answered the phone said he didnt have a pencil and we needed to call back!
 
I e-mailed Rabbit Sunday morning and had a reply within an hour.
 

I tried to e-mail Rabbitsz two weeks ago. I also PMd him on another board where Yourride is a sponsor. I, like you, didn't receive a reply and was becoming a bit concerned. Knowing that we wanted to use his service, I filled out the reservation form on the yourride.net website this a.m. Within an hour or two, Rabbit phoned to confirm he'd received the res AND asked if I had previously e-mailed. . .although he gave no explanation for his failure to reply--I'm assuming he was overwhelmed with work.

In any event, I had res confirmation within a couple of hours. All printed, in my file, and we're good to go in June!

Good luck getting in touch with him.
 
I know when I was making Reservation with Rabbit from yourride I didn't get a conformation number back so made another one about a week later and tolled him this was a repeat of the first one. And I didn't get a conformation number back. Then Rabbit called me and said he sent one out the same day. And told me he just sent out another one but I still didn't get it. So I was thinking "Right!" Rabbit was very nice and ask me to check my settings on "Junk Mail" he was right I had it set so high that his conformation wasn't coming thru. So check the setting on your computer for junk mail. Tony
 
I did not put Rabbitsz response in junk mail. I had already read about people doing that so I was pretty alert to waiting for his response.

I had already received a response from him once, at which time he sent me a question. I responded twice to answer it.

I have been checking my mail every day since I responded to him and have been looking specifically for his name in my mailbox, but it is not there.

I am still waiting for a response in order to know if my ride is confirmed, as I had made some specific requests.

If I don't have a response soon, I will just stay with another company and be comforted that travelling with Yourride was just not in the plans.

My thanks to Jansmom who did get in touch with Rabbitsz and gave me another address to try. I did send him an e-mail and now I will just wait to see what happens.

The whole "email response mixup" happened to us too when we tried to book for our December trip. After my husband had already tried to cancel the reservation, he finally got a response and didn't want to further confuse things, so he re-booked with them, but we vowed not to use their service again.
I used Cartier for my trip last month and fell in love! The price is unbeatable, and my driver Ali was the best driver I've ever had and the car was absolutely spotless. Cartier will be my towncar of choice from now on.

I got an e-mail while I was at work today. I have just responded to it and I am booking Yourride as long as I get a response to today's e-mail.

Rabbitsz says that my e-mail was returned to him and he was unaware. I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I agree wholeheartedly!! I e-mailed Ali recently regarding the good reports he is getting from Dis members and he responded with a lovely e-mail thanking me for contacting him. Ali is very professional and prompt. I love to hear when a little company does well!!
 
Anyone have any idea what Cartier's limo rates are from MCO to Port Canaveral? I'm thinking about using them next time since they have such wonderful reviews. :)
 
For a towncar it's $150 roundtrip from the airport to Port Canaveral. They have a website that lists all their rates and their fleet...cartiertowncar.com
 
I am planning a trip in August and am trying to decide between Yourride and Cartier. I know Yourride has complimentary booster/car seats, but I did not see anything about carseats on the Cartier site. If I have to drag carseats I will, but would prefer not to!! Anyone have any idea about Cartier and carseats??:confused:
 
If you scroll down on the first page you will see that they do offer complimentary booster and car seats.:D
 
I tried contacting Rabbitz for our trip last month. I got an immediate reply to my first email; but no reply to my second one. When I emailed a third time - he responded (in a slightly nasty tone) that he had replied - I gave him the benefit of the doubt and blamed it on my email server at work.

However - I never received any reply to my third email. I gave up on Rabbitz...

We ended up using Mears because we had a family emergency and didn't have time to contact anyone else. I'll plan further in advance next time, Mears was terrible!

I know exactly what that's like! I ended up booking with Tiffany...no problems and would book with them again, but Cartier is cheaper!
 
I used Tiffany in October, and Ali was there in his cartier towncar-must be Tiffany subleases them. He was fantastic, and even listened intently to my very talkative DS! :)
 
We used FL Tours for transportation on our recent cruise.

We heard about them here on the Transportation board, and decided to use them b/c they are sponsors of the DIS.

The FL Tours driver was great and the trip went smoothly.
 
Wow! I sure am glad I read this thread. I immediately booked with Cartier and cancelled my reservation with yourride.com.
I would not enjoy being deserted at the airport.:eek:
