Let me get this straight some of you actually think its unfair for people with disabilities to get through a few of the lines faster? Are you kidding me? Yes some people abuse the system, but many do not. Do you have any idea how much I would pay to be able to wait in the regular lines? But that is not an option, nor will it ever be for my daughter. She has severe cerebral palsy and will never be able to do most of the things we take for granted. Do you actually begrudge her right to a little happiness at Disneyland by getting on a ride faster, when her everyday reality is so difficult? Are people really that selfish to get angry at a child who will spend everyday of her life in a wheelchair?
your daughter is the reason the whole disabled access exists and i am sorry for her. my issue, has been and will always be, the people that get there and expect to get on.
do i care if someone gets on the ride quicker than me.. of course not, i love enjoying the theming of the rides, and its only ever at max 30 secs.. i think the longest is space mountain because of the car getting shifted to the track. There will be people who abuse the system, and those people need to be taken out back and beaten with a stick.
so to close out this thread, i hate the people that abuse the system, such as claiming a son has an issuw when they dont. But for the people that truely need it, ie cerebal palsy, busted ankles, fat disease(no idea what its called), i am happy to wait, i would even give my spot in line to someone else in there party if they were not with them, and anyone who says i am wrong, i am mean, cruel or heartless needs to re-read my post.
