Has anyone had things "disappear" from their inventory? Also my "title" guide..

Ok so a while back I traded a bunch of rare (I dont' recall what) for like 3 green philharmagic chairs. I think I may have traded one or two, but I ALWAYS keep at least one rare thing for myself, if possible. I had forgotten I had them until recently when I started plotting my color themed rooms...looking for green things, I realized they were just....GONE! Not in the room I had them in, not in any other room, and not in inventory. I KNOW I did not trade ALL of them. I also had two mismatched Stitch 'porters that disappeared (which I did not care about since they were not a pair...I thought maybe VMK realized that and just took them away) But the green chairs things really @#$! 's me off! Does this happen to other people? If so tell me your story! Drat, it had to be one of my only 3 beta things too....

Yeah....THAT will happen! Actually I do have a bunch of extra non-rare junk in a few "store rooms", which are all just Skull Rock rooms, so not a bad idea...only I checked and nothing is blocking anything so I know it's not there....and I don't want to have to get the rooms back. Actually now that I think about it...that way my storage rooms would end up at the bottom of my rooms list instead of spread around randomly...what a pain, I wish we could change the order they show up. I also wish (and have suggested to the black hole) that all like items in your inventory would be put next to each other, for easy trading and decorating.

I still want to know if this has happened to anyone else?

Yes, I've had several things recently disappear. I'm missing two gold penny presses, some wanted posters (not sure how many), all but 2 of my purple penny presses are gone. I checked all my rooms and they weren't there. I noticed this a while back when I was working on my gold and purple room. I had taken them all out of my rooms and had them in inventory. I had quit for the day. Went back the next day to work on room and couldn't find them. Thought maybe I left them in another room, but I"ve looked in all my rooms. They are gone. Since then, I try to remember to leave all my inventory in a room before I log off.

Mia, what I did as to storage rooms, I got me two new skull rock rooms, moved all of my stuff 'down' to them at the bottom of my room page, then deleted the 'upper' rooms. A bit of work, but now I don't have them littering the top.
Good luck on finding stuff. I think I've only had one thing go missing, a Chernabog rug I bought for my son, bought two, but one only showed up later when I went to trade them to him.

I have had a few items disappear on me. Thanks to a friend, , I am now using a Space Mountain Room as my storage. It holds more and I have less chance to loose things when I have fewer storage rooms.

My everest chair (yes now i know i was not supposed to have it But i did not know)I go of vmk for 5 secounds and its gone.ad i traded alot for it.than when i told the person i traded with he said no u cant hav your stuff back.so it was like giving him free stuff. I AM SO MAD

I have had several things disappear from Maltoo inventory it is really the only one I semi keep up with.

I am sure the others have had things disappear also.

I have had a few things disappear but all have reappeared.

I do know one time I was looking all through my rooms for one item and I was sure it disappeared and was ready to accuse dh of borrowing it- when I started moving and rearranging my store rooms- and voila- there it was behind something I didn't think there was room for it to be behind...

I do like the idea of selling skull rocks and moving them to the bottom of the list but that would be loads of work to put it all back- but it would work- I could actually organize my storerooms better with one room that has teleporter to all the rest- ok- guess I know what I'm doing tonight...

Yes, a couple of green turnstiles vanished a while back now. But the saddest story was my very first character, Snow, she is in cyber heaven somewhere. I tried to log in one day but have never been able to, so I have lost her, her rooms and all her belongings...sniff!

Yesterday I traded for a second pink tiki, I traded a lot of beta for it. I put it on the table in my beta room and then later qwhen I went back it was gone. I started to freak out. I logged on and off a few times and it showed back.

I haven't noticed anything else missing but honestly I have no much junk that unless it was beta I doubt that I would notice.

I don't think I've had anything disappear. I had a gold turnstile show up one day, I might have traded for it and forgotten about it, but I have no idea.

In beta I lost two Big Thunder Mountain Showers, which magically reappeared in my inventory a couple days ago.

ok before i joined the boards and did not know all you i had a few rare things like magic mirror and a beta rocket couch all stuff that was given to me, well ill tell you i traded all those in a heart beat for inferno, i was so excited until about three days later i went to go use inferno and well it was gone. now i wrote the blackhole and i got the response the things you have mentioned are in your inventory but still never got it back. i mean at that time inferno was like green slips in comparison. now its like a cowboy hat. i miss my inferno and now still cant get one but hey we all have to deal with bugs right LOL.

Well for me inferno is still "like green flips" lol! I suppose that is because I haven't been able to obtain that pin since last July

Yeah, daviedude, inferno is WAY more rare than a cowboy hat! It's up there probably second to green flips! Trust me, I can't do the magic without about 3-4 trade requests popping up! (cancel cancel cancel ignore) LOL. That scares me that you lost inferno! I would DIE! I traded the world and promised my first born for it... I like to keep all my non rare in skull rooms and keep only rare in my inventory since I trade for rare a lot. I don't want to have to put it all away all the time. What a pain! VMK needs to get.........their.......act........together!!!!! Besides you can't put down pins so what if they disappear? What a gip!
