by chance seen the show? Not sure if it fits in our budget yet but I am curious as to how long and if there is music with them etc.. Thanks in advance.:wizard:

I'm not sure, but I believe that the fireworks at the WP last for about 45 seconds. I do not think there is music with them. :thumbsup2

Wow, $3000 for 45 seconds is rather... underwhelming.

It'd be a better deal to rent the entire cruise fleet to watch Wishes or Illuminations.

I vacationed at the Grand Floridian last summer. I was staying in a turret room (click here) inside the main building that had a lovely view of the Wedding Pavilion. I was in my room one afternoon when I heard a loud BOOM! outside. I looked out the window and saw fireworks going off at the Wedding Pavilion. The fireworks show was very brief (less than a minute), so I didn't have time to grab my camera to take photos (drats!). I didn’t hear any music (my window was open). If you have seen fireworks go off at the end of a show inside a theme park during the day, the fireworks at the Wedding Pavilion looked pretty much like that (mostly white smoke since fireworks’ colors can’t be seen too well in the daylight). I was glad that I finally got the opportunity to view them. They looked very nice.

For my custom vow renewal two years ago, I decided to suprise my guests with a custom fireworks display. Disney's Pyrotechnics Team took a song that I had selected (and that Disney had blessed) and created a fireworks show around it. For me, it was the most nerve-wracking part of planning my vow renewal. Once I signed the contract for the fireworks, the ball was set in motion and those fireworks were going to go off come hell or high water. There was no turning back. Fortunately for me, the night of my vow renewal was perfection. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, only a full moon and a lunar eclipse.

Background Info: My vow renewal’s dinner party was held after-hours inside the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park. After a progressive dinner party inside the Great Movie Ride attraction, my guests moved outdoors for a dance party beneath the Sorcerer’s Hat icon. When my dance party ended at 2 AM, the DJ asked everyone to stand in the street in front of the Sorcerer’s Hat. It was from there that we watched the fireworks show (the fireworks were set off from the rooftop of the Great Movie Ride).

I haven’t gotten around to sharing many photos of my fireworks display, but I do have two in my on-line photo album:
Fireworks Photo # 1
Fireworks Photo # 2

You can also see a few more fireworks photos at the end of my slideshow: click here.

Disney’s Pyrotechnics Team did a lovely job with my custom fireworks display. It was the most magical way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.

I'm not sure if this is possible, but another idea for fireworks at the WP is to time the ending of your ceremony with Wishes. That way, you sort of get the fireworks for free.

That is actually possible! We didn't think it was going to work out, but our ceremony ended in time to view wishes from the WP. Our guests were gone and we were taking photos at picture point when they started going off. It was perfect! We have so many amazing pictures from that!! So...I say go for that if the fireworks are out of budget!! :)
