Has anyone had experience with new SWA boarding

just wondering if anyone has had experience with the new SWA boarding procedures

and

if so what are your observations with regard to the new procedures..???

My husband flew SWA yesterday and said the new procedure went smoothly. They now put you in 3 boarding groups (A, B, or C). There are 45 people in each group. You can get your boarding passes when you check in luggage instead of waiting until you get to the gate.

Same here, all went well, It took a few extra minutes at check in gate. But no second line!!!! IF you arrive 15 minutes before your flight you must get boarding pass at the gate. There were three options where to get your boarding pass, just in case your not checking any luggage and going straight to the gate.
