Has anyone had Chef Mickey's Lunch yet?

Haven't seen any reports from Chef Mickey's lunch yet. I'm specifically wondering if they have the yummy nummy Parmesan Mashed Potatoes for lunch or just for dinner? Anyone know????

I did, this past Saturday and it was great! We had such a great time.
The food was excellent and the interacation with the characters...we loved it!
Goofy is hilarious and just had it in for me from the moment i walked in until i walked out!
Go For it! you'll love it!

bumping to get more feedback. We have lunch reservations on 9/25th because we couldn't get dinner reservations.

Specifically, I'd love to know more about the food, and whether or not it was crowded.

It was not at all crowded when we went. We didn't even have ressies.
The food was good, they had a variety of meats, pastas..etc...I'm pretty sure they change the food choices daily. We had a good time, the food was great...No Complains.

Thanks for the feedback, WDWFun! I was thinking that it might not be too crowded. My guess is that not a lot of people (especially non-DISers) know about the temporary lunch at Chef Mickey's.

Do you remember more about which foods were offered?

If anybody else has been to the CM's lunch, please chime in with your feedback as well.

We went for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We were a party of 6 adults (24 yr. old DD has always wanted to eat at Chef Mickey's). We had the free dining plan (I'm really glad I didn't pay for it) but on the receipt it came to $156.81 for our party. I felt that the quality and variety of food offered on the buffet was not worth the price. If you have small children, the character interaction was great and will probably make up for what is lacking in the food. I have read other reviews from people who have had a great time and thought it was worth every penny. If you go, request a table that is not against the wall so that the characters can go around the table and visit with each guest. BTW, sorry, but there were no mashed potatoes on the buffet (but they sure sound good!!).

Did they have the icecream bar with toppings and the mini cheesecakes and chocolate Mickeys ?

They had the ice cream bar with toppings and mini pastries (chocolate cake and carrot cake) and cookies. Not sure about the cheesecake or chocolate Mickeys.
