Has anyone been able to book Fantasmic pkg for anytime in November? I tried online to no avail and then I called and they said they have told someone it isn't working but didn't have an answer as to when it would be available to book. Didn't know if this was wrong info or not. Thanks!
 
Got one this morning - had to call - it wasn't available online - I didn't go to reservTions but dining events, wanted a 4 pm, got a 2:50 at mama melrose
 
Congrats to you!! I have been on the phone all morning and they keep telling me it isn't loaded for the 13th or 17th. I'm sure by the time it is there won't be anything left b/c they are probably telling me wrong. Oh well. But Congrats to you - that is great!
 
I just got off the phone and got one for the 17th. All diner times were gone for Mama Melrose so I had to go with lunch. Maybe try calling again.
 

Hmmm, this got me thinking. I booked one this morning via Hollywood and Vine, dinner, but I do not see it on the My Reservations page on the Disney World site...should I see it there? :concerned:

Also, I was getting "not loaded" from the reps this morning when trying to get Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. I called twice. The second time I was told that I can only book this show, 180 days in advance of the day I want it (no +10). Does this sound like bogus information?
 
I booked Mama Melrose's this morning for the 17th. I couldn't get Hoop Dee Doo online or on the phone. The CM (who seemed knowledgeable) said the prepaid system wasn't loading all the dates and to keep trying online and calling. Maybe that is the cause?
 
I know that they were having "computer problems". I posted yesterday that i was trying to do my regular dining (no F! packages, etc) and I put in my booking number to get the 180 + 10 but it would not pull any ADR's up for anytime during the week. It would only let me book the first night, which was the 180 mark).

I ended up calling at 7am and got what I want. But I tried again today and NOTHING! I put my booking number in and it still will not give me anything beyond the first 2 days.

For a multi billion corporation, their website stinks!

I would keep trying, maybe calling for the HDDR.

I called and got the reservation # for the Fantasmic packaged. The rep confirmed the reservation too, of course, so I am relieved!

Still no Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue though. She said "nothing available". but I'm sure they are still having computer problems. I'll have to keep trying.
 
I am using a TA to book everything, and she tried to get dinner at H&V for 11/13 today but there were no times available so she booked Mama something for lunch. I had her cancel the lunch. I think my youngest DD is too young for Fantasmic. She didn't mention any problems except that the restaurants were booked.

Fantasmic is really popular. I am mildly surprised that its sold out so quickly, since the time we will be in town is pretty slow. Not TOO surprised, mind you.

Hoop-Dee-Doo is a different story, though. I am convinced they are having computer issues because I can't see anything past October 16th for it, and I get a server error if I try to examine the available times for the 16th. I would add that I called at 7:00AM on the nose and was talking to a rep not 3 minutes later, and there was nothing. She confirmed a computer issue at that time.

Ultimately, while I think Hoop-Dee-Doo is popular, I can't imagine it sold out within 3 minutes in an off time of year. Maybe CRT would do that. ;)
 
I couldn't get them for a reasonable dinner time. 2:50 at Mama Melrose was the latest and we'll be at a different park during the day...were hoping for closer to 5. :( Couldn't get it online at all, though.
 
I was surprised it booked that quickly as well, but with the early Fantasmic, the latest dinner is 4 pm. So maybe, there are 't as many spots.
 
Well that stinks!! Our 180 day +10 starts tomorrow and I wanted to book F! for 11/13 because that's our wedding anniversary. Our flight doesn't get in to Orlando until 11:30am, so I don't know that we could even make a 2pm lunch/dinner. That stinks. Hopefully, I'll find something. I wish the online was working though, I'd rather fool around with the times myself than rely on someone to do it for me. Pooh :(
 
After my fifth phone call I got a 1:30 on 11/17. Not what I was hoping for but oh well. I'll make it work. Even with a newly 4th old! Lol.
 
I've been trying since Sat. Only called twice, but checking online several times a day. Beginning to rethink my plan & not going with the package. I don't have time in my life to be calling Disney everyday! Fantasmic is a must do for us, but waiting for 1.5 hours with 4 kids, especially the 4 yr old & 14 month old does not seem like fun. I already have visions of the baby climbing all over the bleachers. Anyone gone without the package and can give tips. We wil be there Nov 10, which is a crowd level of 8.3 according to TP.
 
Thanks for the info - I won't even bother trying to do it on-line tomorrow, but will haul myself out of bed at 6:00 central tomorrow to try to see if we can get anything for the 17th. If not, well, I guess we will miss F! again....

I just found out yesterday 8/19/11 that the date had been changed. I made my reservation in May for the 17th and NO ONE called or e-mailed to let me know of the change to Nov. 16th. They did not change it for me. I got the only thing they had left, which was the Brown Derby. Makes me made as now I have to use an extra table service for this and I have to pay out of pocket for Thursday night. I can't believe with the computer system they have that we weren't sent an e-mail when they made the change. I feel they should pay for our dinner.

Same thing happened to me... I made my ressies back in May on my 180th day out and sat on those for several months... The only reason I found out about the change when I was trying to book a Hoop Dee Doo ressie on the same Thursday and he said it would conflict with my Fantasmic dining- and then he said, "well wait.." there is no fantasmic show on that date... :scared1:

I was completely taken aback! I was able to call back the next day and managed to get a Mama Melrose slot- but honestly if I hadn't called about Hoop De Doo- I would have showed up in November on the 17th- waiting to see Fantasmic... :confused3
