Has anyone got married on Castaway Cay or Disney Ship Recently ?

Hi

We are getting married next February (2008), on a 7 night Disney Western cruise.

We were hoping to get married on Castaway Cay, but fate conspired against us , and even though I rang DFTW the first minute of their working day, the first day we were eligible to book...they had already promised 'our' date to a couple who through illness missed their wedding on the equivalent cruise this Feb.

So, we have the next best thing....we are getting married on the ship, and despite our disappointment, there are some plus points (besides the cheaper price!), one of which means that we will (hopefully) be married on Valentine's Day and the other means we will not miss out on any CC beach time.

I would very much like to hear of any recent wedding experiences on board the Disney cruise ships....and just in case the other couple back out...... also any Castaway Cay weddings please !! I've tried to be so positive about our second choice that I'm not sure if we were offer the CC wedding, whether we would now infact take it (but I'd like the chance to make a more informed decision !)!

I have found a few old posts...but nothing too recent - can anyone help please ??

I would like to hear about recent experiences too! We may be going to WDW/DCL (not sure when), it would be cool if my daughter and her fiance could have a DCL wedding, but not sure whether it could be CC or on the ship.
