I was just wondering if anyone has framed the 15 ann. dvc Giclee print. DH and I are interested in doing this, but we are not good at putting together pics with frames. (serious poor judgement in the past :sad2: )

I would love to see some pictures if anyone is up to it. Thanks!

I went to my local Michael's and purchased the appropriate pre-made natural colour wood frame with the proper depth and then white washed the frame with a lacquered down white paint. I stapled cardboard on the back and added on the hanger and the framed giclee looks great. Altogether I only spent $15 dollars for the frame.

I went to Hobby Lobby and got a backless frame. I thought I wanted white, but the salesman showed me how black looked better. Then he put paper backing, etc. on it. It also cost me about $15. Unfortunately, I don't know how to download pictures, but I'll have DH do it later, so I can show you.

Thank you both for the replies.

I know I can't get this done by Christmas, but maybe Valentines day.

I appreciate you both telling what it roughly cost you also.

Maybe I will try a run to one of the craft shops locally. Who knows maybe with a little pixie dust I can do this myself and surprise my DH for Christmas.
If you can get a picture I would love to see it, but if not I certainly understand. I had to have teen dd show me how to do it. Now I forget again.

I haven't yet, but I plan on going to AC Moore and getting a backless frame. I have done this with my canvas paintings, it is easy. I also just bought another giclee on ebay for $8!
