Has anyone flown with monarch?

Hi all can anyone help? Monarch are coming in at the cheapest for our flights 20th April to 4th may but what I wanted to ask is is it worth paying £100 to prebook seats? Will getting there early for check in not get us seating together? Is it worth paying the £100 as every penny counts!

Hi, we flew with Monarch on our very first trip - we didn't pre book seats and we were all seated together. Flight was very good, seat back screens etc, I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

Thanks traci! I think it may be worth the risk then and you never know I may be lucky enough to be at the other end of the aeroplane from my hubby and kids!

I had an awful experience with Monarch in 2008, multiple problems including arriving in Florida 32 hours after we were supposed to amongst others. This was the Cardiff-Sanford route though which was discontinued a few months later. We may just have had bad luck!
