pnelson, there's an article in the ANG newspapers today about a reporter's experience with SWA, OAK to LAX on Friday. It was in the Daily Review, you might be able to find it in the Oakland Tribune, I couldn't find it online. Essentially he said that it only took about a half an hour to check in, had to show his driver's license 3 times, and that he didn't see too many procedural changes. He also said that there was a scale and 15 lb. weight limit for carry-on baggage, but that it wasn't being enforced. The headline is "Not-So-Tight Security?". He said that the flight to LAX, was only about half full, and the mood was rather somber, which is to be expected.
