has anyone experienced the character caravans?

just wondering what to expect with this "feature". We'll be at FW, and I did post this on the camping board, but I am curious about general experiences too. Thanks!

We were at the BWV's. Our DD is four. She loved it!! Every am when we entered the lobby she wanted her book incase they were there. Great interaction. Its a great opportunity to get some good pix with your hotel lobby as the backround. We left to drive home at 7AM and she couldn't understand why the characters weren't there.

We had good luck with CC at BWI a few months ago. We saw unusual characters (like Queen of Hearts, Sir Foulfellow, Pinnoccio) and regular ones (like C and D, and Goofy). The staff handed out balloons to kids. It was a nice way to start the morning.

We were at BWV last month and while we didn't plan to be in the lobby at that time, we did happen upon the CC twice. It was fun and quick. It didn't take 5 minutes to see all the characters (there was either 4 or 5).

Hi! We were at Coronado Springs, and we saw Mr. Smee, Captain Hook, Jessie, and Minnie Mouse. Right away, they got mobbed by a huge crowd of kids, so we didn't get to see them up close, but it was neat just to get to see them.
