Has anyone experience bed bugs problems at Anaheim Plaza?

Here are a couple of tips when traveling and staying in condos or hotels. I always put clothes in drawers. I know thinking wow that sounds dumb. I unpack right away the zip tight all my travel cases. Now dont stop with that -- when placing clothes back in case I shake out and carefully look to make sure I do not have any unwanted travelers. I know I am on vacation but I try to do laundry before packing up.

Please Please don't leave left over food sitting out. I even bring extra -very light weight -trash bags for just this issue.

Remember bed bugs are black. They like to gather in the seams of mattresses. Take a look pull the sheets back and examine mattress and bedding. Look on line for a picture so you know what you are looking for.

Hope you have a wonderful trip. Two times in one year. I am much closer and have not been to DL for almost 4 years. Wish it were me going.

can you tell me when, what room?

management's response?

thanks

It was a C-1 family suite directly at the top of the stairs, it was 2007? I think?
Managements response was after we left, apparently they sent in a "service" to look into it. Who knows if they did, however we have since returned and never had an issue

Lucky you going back so soon!!!
My children & I stayed in the Peacock Suites last September & this August for 2 weeks each time.
My Daughter has a skin condition, so we are very particular about where we stay. I sat & read every review on every Hotel in Anaheim in my price bracket & only read good things about the cleanliness on this hotel.
The rates are really reasonable, esp if you book with them directly. I will admit I never use travel agents anymore, I can always find cheaper things on the net myself.
It has the ART bus stop right outside the door, so no hassels getting to DL at all. It is also very close to Garden Walk so has great restaurants to eat at. It also has free wi fi in the room, so I take my laptop with me.
We wont stay anywhere else but here now.
Here is the direct link if you are interested!

Good luck & hope you have an awesome trip.....:thumbsup2

I stayed at the Anaheim Plaza twice in 2007 and once in 2009 and we never had a problem. We'll be going back in 28 days too.

We've never had bed bug issues.

Bed bugs can be in ANY hotel no matter what the price range. So we always check our room (at all hotels) really good before we bring our suitcases in.

We spent 2 nights at the AP last Sept. ~ no bed bugs and a good enough place for the price we paid.

Just a thought - we too have a daughter with sensitive skin..never encountered bed bugs but sometimes the sheets are washed in detergents that can cause her to react. You can buy sleeping bag sheets, which take up no space, and could be useful to take, and prevent skin contact (once though the pillow got her!) No rhyme or reason to the hotels though.
