Scrapbook'd an old t-shirt?? I found an old preschool t-shirt of my son's that had been autographed by the staff with some really nice personal messages. I want to put together a layout (multi-page for sure!) with all these wonderful, sentimental messages and pictures of David w/the staff member. Should I cut the messages out of the shirt, and, if so, how would you recommend affixing them to the page; or, should I take photos of the messages and crop those instead??

TIA for all the advice and suggestions I hope all you wonderful people have!!

I would take pictures of it and put the shirt in a keepsake box.

I would take pictures of the shirt. I would also maybe make the shirt into a pillow so that you could see it often. I've done that with a few of my favorite small people clothes. :)

Not a t-shirt, but I scrapped a baby onsie. For DD's first birthday, I painted the invitation information onto a pink onsie and took a picture of her wearing the onsie and that was the invitation. It was great (except this was before digital cameras and I ended up taking about 75 pictures to get one that was just right!). So when I scrapped her first b.day I just folded the onsie in such as way as to show the front and adhered it to a piece of cardstock with some foam dots and into the page protector it went. It is a bit bulky but I LOVE putting "stuff" into my books. That is why I started scrapping in the first place.... to have a place to put my "stuff"! Good luck.............P

I'd definately scan the shirt. I actually did that with a raincoat from Niagara Falls. I scanned it and used it for the background on my page. Another really cool scanning trick I learned somewhere is to get one of those clear lucite type picture frames that's like a box, fill it with whatever and place it on your scanner bed. I've done this with Cheerios and flowers, etc. It's an easy and very neat way to make background paper. Good luck!

I once used a dew rag in a retirement album as wallpaper, why not a favorite tshirt. :thumbsup2
