Has anyone ever vacationed in Va. Beach?

We rented a house there this year with my brother & cousin & their families. Last year we did the same in Myrtle Beach and had a great time.

We have never been to VA. Becah, any input?

We're on our way there next Friday to pick up my step-son Jonathan. There's a cool place to eat called Abbey Road Pub and Restaurant.It's done with a Beatles theme.It had great food and what Joe liked best 101 International beers....I think he still has a few to taste!

We also ate at a place with an ocean few,can't remember the name of it though.Delicious seafood.

I really like the boardwalk down the beach.Beautiful walk! But one of the days we were there jets from the bases were roaring by CONSTANTLY...kinda blew the ambiance.

I have friends that live there. We try to visit as much as possible...LOL

I do like it there though. The boardwalk is beautiful and there are a ton of restaraunts...

I'm a huge Beatles fan so I will have to try out that restaurant! What is there to do on the boardwalk? I am originally from NJ and used to ride piers & games. I can't find a ton of information about it. I hope it's as fun as Myrtle was for us.

I live in Va. Beach and I have to say it is a wonderful city to visit. We have awesome restaurants like the Abbey. We also have great seafood restaurants. Captain George's at Pungo and Steinhilber's in the Thalia section. But don't tell anyone that you heard about it from a local, it is strictly a local's place.

Our beach is beautiful, we have a great Marine Science Museum you can see it at www.vmsm.com. We have wonderful shopping and many nice people that always welcome the tourists to our part of the world.

I love VA Beach!! We live about an hour and a half away so we go pretty frequently. They have tons of stuff to do in the summer months.
