Just curious. I know the only way to get to stay there (per word on the street) is a hidden cast member finds you and selects you. Just wondering if anyone here has ever stayed there and if so, what it was like? Any special perks aside from just being in the castle?

Some youtubers recently got to stay in the castle. Seems like an awesome experience. I read somewhere that it's mainly for make-a-wish type scenarios for people who really would benefit from the magical time.

That said, I also read that one of the Jonas brothers and his new wife stayed there, as have other celebrities, leading me to believe that it's available to stay there, but by really exclusive invitation only.

My family was lucky enough to spend a night in the castle suite in 2015. We got picked up from AKL in a van with a castle guests decal and then had a vip guide for a few hours before going to the suite. Once there we got a tour of the suite and then they got us a last minute reservation for 6 at Be Our Guest before having reserved viewing for the fireworks. When we left for dinner there was a show taking place on the castle stage so we exited by going through the CRT kitchen which was pretty fun to see. When we returned to the suite there was a chocolate carriage filled with chocolate covered strawberries as well as a glass slipper for us to take. They let us go out a few times after the park closed which was really fun. The night we were there they were filming a New Year’s Eve special so there were musicians and celebrities waiting around the door/pathway in the castle. It was fun being in our pajamas with these musicians in their sparkly outfits. Plus they were shooting off fireworks most of the night. The room was mostly soundproof to the fireworks but it was amazing watching them out the stained glass windows. My favorite part was the bathroom. The bathtub had bits of gold and lights to change the color of the water. In the morning we had breakfast at CRT and Cinderella asked us how we slept and if the mice were good to us. It was an amazing night and went by far too fast.

How did you get chosen to stay there? I'm just curious. It seems like a dream come true!

During the "Year Of A Million Dreams" promotion,a Family was chosen each day to stay in the Castle Dream Suite and, believe it or not, some families TURNED IT DOWN!:)

I can understand why, since it was a random pick each morning. We sat next to a family of castle suite winners in CP on the morning after their win. They all had their dream ears on and shared the experience with us. YoaMD was a great promotion.

Wow I can’t believe anyone would turn it down! I kept hoping we’d be picked! We did get YOMD Ears coming off Aladdin’s Carpets and got a Dream Pass leaving Pooh but every attraction in MK was walk on so didn’t really need it. Wish I had that pass now! Lol.

We won a contest when the new Cinderella movie came out. The castle stay was only part of the prize - we also got a VIP guide for a separate day and club level accommodations at AKL for a few nights. I never believed anyone actually won those contests but entering daily apparently works. And if you are entering these types of Disney contests, keep an eye on your email. We found out we won through an email and only had a few days to respond or we would have lost it.

Huh interesting. Good to know. I don't usually enter a lot of contests, but I might have to now!

If you are talking about Make A Wish organization those children can't wish to stay in the castle. I knew a child that told her Make a Wish , wish granter her wish was to spend a night in the castle and was told Disney World wouldn't do that because if this was the case the castle would be occupied every night of the year.

When we did the Wanyama Safari at AKL, we met a couple who had won a one night stay in the Cinderella Castle suite and they were headed there after we finished our dinner at Jiko.
