Has Anyone Ever Stayed at AKL?

My family is going back to Disney in June and we're going to be staying at AKL since they finally turned into a DVC resort. My mother (our personal vacation planner ), was able to get us a room with a savannah view and everything. Has anyone else ever stayed there? If so, how did you like it?

My family and I stayed there two days out of our week long vacation 5 or 6 years ago (Because we're cheap but still wanted to stay there, haha) But I remember really liking it. We had the savannah view also and that was fun
I think there were bunk beds? Idk if there are bunk beds in all the deluxe (is it a deluxe?) resorts, cos thats the only one I've ever stayed at.

But yeah.
Overall I'd give it like a 10/10 4sho.
I really enjoyed it. If I remember correctly. aha.

You'll love it. I've been there twice. The first time we didn't have a savannah view, but last time we did. I loooved it. If we were in the room, I was on the balcony. There were always animals out there and there was a new baby giraffe, it was so small compared to the other ones, it was adorable. Have fun!!

I've been to the AKL 1 time and would definatly stay again. We had a savannah view and we would wake up to giraffes chasing down their food. xD. The pool is really cool and Bomas (the reasturant inside) is amazing. Whenever my family plans a disney trip it includes a trip to Boma's which offers both african and american food so don't worry if you don't like some of the things they have. I hope you enjoy your trip!

Ive had a savanna and pool view. I"ve stayed there three or four times. Can't really remember. Its the quiestest most peaceful hotel I've ever stayed at.

And paula, if you want a bunkbed, you can get a bunkbed. you don't have to have one. you can have any bed organization you want.

i suggest savanna view.

AKL is my moms favorite resort, we stay there all the time, she is thinkig about buying their DVC.

I stayed there for about 2 days. We had a savannah view, it was amazing. It was like have giraffes in your back garden lol. Boma's restaurant is really nice! When we stayed there the maid made a animal out of towels and stuck stickers on for eyes!!! They are really friendly there!

Ive gone there for dinner. But when they finish making the DVC rooms there my family will probably stay there.

I've stayed at AKL and it was absolutely stunning! The views were amazing! It's definitely a favorite resort of mine. You'll love it!

I stayed there a few years ago and it was AWESOME!!! we got a savannah view so in the morning we could see all the animals
