Has anyone ever spent anytime in Boston?

Hey Guys

Just pricing up some flights for next August and one option is having a stop over in Boston.

I quite fancy staying a couple of nights just to say I've been really but wonder if any of you have any Boston experience?

What to do, places to go etc..

We've not been yet but hoping to go in 2014, from what I've found during researching it there's loads to do! There's a really well know science museum, Harvard obviously, tours of Fenway Park the home of the Boston Red Sox and swan boat tours which are supposed to be brilliant ^_^

Boston is lovely, we did the freedom trail, which is essentially a walking tour and was self guided and the science museum. Both were very good. Quincy market is also a must.

Boston is an Amazing city, love it. We spent 5 days there in January this year.

Trolley Tours- Great way to get around the city and all the stops are worth getting of at, a great way of getting around.

Fenway Park tour; Did'nt know anything about baseball, did'nt know who they were talking about, but loved it, great way to get into the game.
It's also one of the stops serviced by Trolley Tours.

The Freedom Trail; Great History lesson, really enjoyed it, very patriotic! They love the fact that your British and your listening to there side.

Boston Public Library;
A stunning building inside and out, worth taking a walk around and inside really beautiful.

Prudential Centre;
Great if you like heights, stunning view of Boston.

Just a few to get you started, any help or advice just ask, love talking about Boston.

Check out what shows are on as well whilst there they have some lovely theatres if you like that kind of thing.

Been multiple times, even have a Red Sox tattoo!!! It is one of the finest cities, very British in feel, lots of lovely areas to shop, eat, sight-see, walk around.

What time of the year are you thinking of? It can get very hot in summer, but a sail around the harbour is lovely. You might even get to go whale watching.
