Has Anyone Ever Seen A Celebrity In Wdw

I've seen a few - one of the girls from Salt 'N Pepa (not sure if she's Salt or Pepa :rotfl:), Joey from 'NSYNC, and the biggest name... George Lucas.

Iv'e seen Rasheed Wallace from the Detriot Pistons at the Animal Kingdom with his family.

I saw Tammy Faye Baker back in '89 or '90. Yes, the mascara was thick. She was very nice and even posed for a pic. I'm sure my mom has the pic in storage somewhere.

I've seen John Stamos, Drew Carey, and Raven Symone. On the opposite end of the spectrum, at our last trip, we were in the Dolphin's elevator and a lady got on and screamed at my husband, "Oh my gosh! You're John McEnroe!" DH said no, he just looks like him(he looks exactly like him) and she pretty much pushed our daughter out of the way to get near my husband. Finally we get out of the elevator and she follows us, begging for an autograph and following us around. As people begin to stare, DH grabs my Epcot map, signs it and hands it to the woman. She just wouldn't believe that he's just an accountant from Alabama!

Oh my goodness I think that was one of the funniest things I've ever heard on here!!!:lmao:

I was going to the bathroom in japan when Charlie Sheen came in and went right next to me.And yes, Chuck zZto stood guard and watched us both. talk about stage fright.

We saw Kim Fields (Facts of Life) in a bathroom in Animal Kingdom once. We saw a professional basketball player (forget his name, but DH wold remember) in Magic Kingdom once.

I saw Davy Jones (on stage) in Epcot, does that count? LOL

If it counts for you, then it counts for me!

And Arlo Guthrie! :P

We saw Robert Guillome (sp?), but he was doing the Candelight Processional, so i don't really count that.

2 years ago we saw Celine Dion at the MK in Spash Mountain. She and her family stopped right in front of me ( I could have touched her she was so close). It was funny, no one seemed to recognize her. My husband and I had switched off riding while our son was asleep in the stroller. I had no one to share the moment with! Luckily he got off the ride in time to see her too. I am sure he would have thought I was crazy or something. The funny thing was that nobody else seemed to recognize her. She looked really normal. It was probably her husband I noticed first. Of course now everytime we see her we say "we've vacationed with her" :thumbsup2

I don't know if this really counts because I don't even know her name but we saw the girl that is the print and TV ads for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (the very pretty dark skin girl with the short, black curly hair) walking around Downtown Disney on Friday. She was distributing information about the Boutique. She really does work there. I always wondered if they used real cast members for the ads. Now I know. She was very nice when I shouted at here that she was the girl in the pictures. She wanted us to take the information but we have boys.

We saw OJ about 5 years ago as he was coming out the the bathroom at MK. :scared1: Countless others at one taping of Regis and Kelly.

Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca (Survivor winners and a couple) outside Main St. Bakery this July...

We also rode down the elevator in the Contemporary with John Miller. He is the Assistant Director of Public Affairs for the FBI. Miller is a former ABC News reporter and anchor on 20/20. He conducted a famous May 1998 interview with Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan. :scared1:

Ethan was in WDW as a speaker for The Key Club convention in July!!!!

Kudos, to those who treat celebs like regular folks! Most of the time, celebs are escorted through the parks through backstage areas for their protection. It really is a shame they can't enjoy the onstage magic with their kids without being mobbed.

If you do see one out and about with their family please be kind and keep your distance and let them enjoy their vacation.

My DD just became a WDW CM and that is one of the golden rules of working there - you must treat the celebs just like everyone else - although I'm sure there are some that just demand to be treated like primadonnas, but unless they're asking for that, CM's must pretend they are regular joes.;)

We saw racecar driver Tony Stewart and his family at Disneyland - however, I had no idea who he was, my husband pointed him out to me. I'm not a racing fan, at all. ;)
