Anyone ever rented a villa or condo for a month or more (January/February) in the Orlando area? And if so, did they give you any kind of break on the price?

Not in the cards for me at the moment, but something I'm considering somewhere down the road..

Most owners I know will discount their homes for a long stay like this although some may insist on a mid stay clean being done .You don't say where you from but a lot of Canadians snowbird in jan /feb but they do organise it early on and book a long time ahead .I have had my snowbirds booked for feb 04 since may this year so if you are thinking along the lines of a home my advice would be to think ahead.

:sunny: Have never rented for more than a month but are renting for three weeks from 12-20-03 thru 1-10-04. We got a bit of a price break, we don't have to pay the holiday surcharge since we are renting for three weeks.

I don't know if they still do or not, but Hayes Vacation Rental Homes used to give a 25% discount for rentals of a month.
