Has anyone ever redeemed for $50 off flight at Milesource?

I was thinking of doing this to save on our flights to WDW. It's $50 off flights of $249 or more....when I do a search on Delta.com my flight would cost us $244. I wonder if they'd refuse the GC's over the $5. Anyone has any experience with this?
