At the USPS site??? I was thinking about now that the lines at the post office will start getting longer and just wondered if anyone else had ever done this.

Yep, I just purchased some Xmas stamps a little over a week ago. It's very reasonable, shipping was only $1! I think it's worth it to avoid the lines. They came pretty fast, less than a week.

Definately Chris! Just ordered my Christmas stamps and 1 book of everyday, regular stamps a few nights ago. $1 total shipping for 5 or 6 booklets of stamps. I've been using them since I found out about the site. I hate waiting at the P.O.!

Our mail delivery person left an envelope in our box a couple months ago that we can just leave the money in the mail box and the stamps will be left there.

I haven't tried it yet....I still have a couple more trips to the PO to mail packages.

I always buy online and I highly recommend it, it only cost $1 more and the selection of stamps is often so much better than what you find at the PO. Then there is the finding a parking space and waiting in line that are eliminated. Turn around time on your order is often fairly quick too.

I always mail-order mine. You can pick up your first envelope at the post office. It is free to send the envelope, and free to have the stamps mailed back to you. You only pay for the stamps. Each time you order, you get a new envelope returned with your stamps. I usally get my stamps the next day. It works great!

nope. I buy mine at the grocery store as I check-out.
No service charge at all.

But I hardly use stamps at all - I pay all my bills with internet banking.

Me too. It's easier than the PO.

I buy my stamps online and I love it, love it, love it!! Very reliable and I don't really mind the $1.00 service fee.

Of course, you're also talking to a major internet shopper, too. I'd say about 50% of the stuff in this house came from online shops. :D
