Just wondering if anyone has ever seen/met any celebrities whilst on holiday in Orlando.

My only claim to fame was seeing Ian (Lovejoy) Mcshane 2 years ago at Downtown Disney.

Got his autograph, seems a really nice guy:D

Two years ago we saw a Michael Jackson impersonator. He was all done up in a red military style shirt and black hat with a surgical mask and he had a guy with him holding a huge golf umbrella over his head. He was trying really hard, but it couldn't have been him...right?

Highlight of DH and DDs trip about 3 years ago was running into Paul Merson (ex-Arsenal footie player) in Bennigans on IDrive. They chatted for ages:rolleyes: Still, DH in particular was on a high for the rest of the trip as he's a fanatical Arsenal fan.

we were lucky enough to meet Trevor Nelson(radio 1 DJ), and Richard Twice nightly(sorry Whiteley), at AKL in May, Kate Thornton was lurking in the shadows!, some nice senior member of AKL hotel took our pics for us, as Im sure nobody would have beleived us!!.

We've seen Sevi Ballesterous (Golfer), Simon Weston and family (Gulf War Hero) and an American Country Singer Waylon Jennings (sp !!).

Holly

Steve Cram in MGM one year, his kids were playing in the playground bit (Honey I shrunk the kids) with Becky:)

Linda Robson (Birds of a Feather) in Universal Studios:)

In December 2001 we saw Jeremy Spake (who used to be on 'Airport'), he was filming for the BBC holiday programme in MGM Studios. He was lovely, he stopped for a chat, photos and an autograph. When the programme was on the telly, we taped it hoping that we might be on it - but we weren't, but it brought back lovely memories of a really nice man

We saw Jonathon Ross and family sheltering from the rain near Splash and BTMR this year.

Jill Dando was a stewardess for the day on our Britannia flight to Orlando in 1996. She was so friendly and really helped to pass the hours. Such a tragic waste.

We saw Sarah Greene and Keith Chegwin at Orlando airport waiting to go through Immigration a couple of years ago.

...... not Orlando, but I've just seen Bonnie Tyler in our local Sainsburys' this afternoon  :teeth:

Walked past Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and family on 2 different days in Fantasyland a few years ago. Tam even tried to take their photo. Naughty girl.

The Ross family seem to be pretty regular visitors to Florida. I think we have been on the same flight with them 3 or 4 times in the past.

David :D

I saw Johnny Briggs (Mike Baldwin from Coronation St) in Universal Studios. I also saw Samantha Janus at DLP.

It's not Orlando, but it's close - my other half tells me she saw David Essex at Miami Airport one year.

On our first trip we sat next to Andy Caddick (England cricket player) both ways on the plane and said hello again at BB.

Last time we saw Sally Whittaker (Sally from Corrie) at BB. Also Phil Jupetus (Never Mind the Buzzcocks) at US. Paul said Up the Hammers (both West Ham fans) and he acknowledged the fact. Think Paul was the happier of the two.
