Has anyone ever met/seen any celebrities whilst on Holiday in Florida?

Last Summer we saw Gareth Gates, and DD Becca had her picture taken with him. Have also seen John Travolta riding Splash Mountain, surrounded by masses of Disney staff, and quite a few years back Robin Williams was walking just behind the Christmas Parade, and he was absolutely charming. He had his little daughter on his shoulders, but he made time to shake hands with Simon and Becca. Simon has also met Trevor Nelson, Richard Whitely sp??and seen Michael Jackson. Oh and Becca and Simon have met Michael Eisner and had their photo taken with him. That's it I think. Carolyn

We were fortunate enough to go to Islands of Adventure during its final Park Preview Week, and the actual day we went on was "media day", so we saw dozens of celebrities.
There was a spate of TV commercials, holiday programs and Universal promotions being filmed, so we saw the likes of Gina Lee Nolan on several occasions with a tv camera in front of her, talking about a ride etc.
We also saw Harrison Ford, Steven Spielburg, The old chap from Jurrasic Park whos name escapes me, a special outdoors episode of Jeopordy or something like that being filmed, and several others who I cant remember or didnt know. They were all being given tours by Universal staff, so were easy to spot.

But the funniest one of the day (and I hope my father in law doesnt read this and see's me tellign anyone this), was after we went on Dueling Dragons....we were walking out of the dark exit tunnel, when coming towards us came a Universal guide with Eddie Murphy and around 15 of his hangers on.....all dressed in black and all wearing shades (in the dark)....obviously being let on the ride the quick way so they didnt have to queue.....and my father in law, not recognising him whatsoever said "isnt that good how they are letting those blind people on without having to queue"

hehe.

Got to meet Aerosmith whenthey requested our floor at BWV when they were opening Rocking Roller coaster at MGM

I mentioned to my wife that Id related that story, and she reminded me that we also saw Patrick Swayze and Michael Douglas on the same day.

IT WASN'T IN DISNEY, BUT WE WERE STALKED BY LIONEL BLAIR!!
EVERYWHERE WE WENT, HE WOULD TURN UP AND KEEP SMILING AT US.
WE WOULDN'T ASK FOR HIS AUTOGRAPH OUT OF SPITE:p
EVERY TIME HE APPEARS ON THE TELLY, WE ALL GROAN "OH NO NOT LIONEL BLAIR AGAIN":crazy2:
LIN XXXXXXX:wave:

Ok, not WDW but we have seen the real Michael Jackson and been close enough to touch him! Shopping in the Forum Shops at Las Vegas we saw this huge crowd of people and being nosey went to take a look. He was shopping with his family and they had shut off the Museum Shop just for him. Pretty amazing experience and yes he does look as weird in real life!
