Has anyone ever had a waitlist come through for CL studio at AKV?

So I am looking for anyone out there who has ever had a waitlist come through...or found availability at AKV CL studio not at the 11 month mark. THis is the ONLY DVC in Disney world that we have not had the pleasure of staying at. One day about a month ago, I was browsing availability ( we already have our stay booked) and saw TWO CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS open during our stay at AKV club level studio.... my heart sank as I went to book them...only to get the dreaded "page not found" error right before the "time out in 20 minutes" page. I haven't been able to forget about it and its eating my soul!!! I set up a waitlist for those two random nights but obviously, nothing. I then started to wonder if anyone had been lucky enough to get one of these rooms either by waitlist or at the 7 or sooner month mark? I just never ever see availability while doing random searches. Experiences? Thoughts?

After 3 failed attempts, we added on a small contract expressly for this purpose. We will be staying AKV CL next May for 3 nights. I booked exactly at 11 mo and only the 2nd day was available. I waitlisted days 1 and 3, they did come through within 10 days.

LOL!! Exactly what I was asking. I figure that you actually have to own AKV to ever get studio CL rooms! Well congrats on the purchase! Enjoy your stay!!

We got a CL studio for one night a few years ago, right at 7 months. I think the one night only and the fact I did it at opening on 7 months worked in our favor.

I cancelled a studio CL AKV stay after last year's DVC Member cruise, so somebody probably had a wait list come through.

There are only 5 Club Level rooms. What are the odds that you'll waitlist the exact day that someone else will cancel? Not good.

I have waitlisted for a CL studio 3 times (each time 2 days at the beginning of our trip) and have been successful getting those two days 2/3 times.

I own at AKL and often have to wait list CL myself even at 11 months out. I have had waitlist come through for it twice in 5 years. Now granted, I only WL one or two nights. For us it's not worth the points for more than that but it's a fun treat once a year for a night or two if you can get it.
I've been told when making ressies on the phone to try and walk these ressies to ensure I get them.

I booked a three night stay in a club level studio for the first week of January this year at only a month out.

I must have grabbed a cancellation before the wait list could pick it up.

It was fantastic. We are at Jambo house right now reminiscing about the club level lounge and how we can't use it this trip!

I was able to get 1 bedroom CL last year at the 5 month window for 5 nights. Obviously someone cancelled a reservation! I always have to book at the 11 month window to get CL! Love it!!!
