For the past 6 months or so, I have noticed that whenever I eat pistachios my throat has felt sore - kind of tickly, like I have to keep clearing it - after eating them. It is so odd.
I thought that perhaps my throat got sore from the papery coating on the nuts or perhaps from the salt. But when I told my friend about it once, she suggested that perhaps it was an allergy to the nut. It kind of makes sense. I just had some pistachios about an hour ago and my throat had the tickly feeling that I have noticed before after eating them.
No one in our house has any food allergies, but I know that you can develop at an allergy any time.
So I was just curious, does this happen to anyone else, or is it just me?
