We were offered $215 a night in Oct of last year. I have seen it as low as $199 for value season. Watch out though because Nov this year is Regular season, not value!
Depending on the # in your party, you may want to look into renting DVC points to get a BC villas studio.
For us, 2 adults + 1 in a crib, it was great! Less expensive and more space because we didn't unfold the sofa bed. The microwave was handy with a little one.
There should be a general code released for October like the end of August, first of September. I can't remember when I got ours. I had WL for $167.25 with tax courtyard view and then switched over to Garden view at the Poly for something like $239 plus tax a night. HTH
I had an AP rate at the YC in 2002 (value season) for 169 (before taxes). We had an upgrade to a water view (was the quiet pool--it was great--got to walk straight out of our patio to the pool and jacuzzi!).
Also had an AP rate at the BWI (standard) for 250 during peak season in 2003--which I think usually runs the same as YC or BC.
