Someone posted this on the snacking around the world thread....and I had never heard of this. I would love to know if this was common??? My dd and I love that soup. Matter of face she said she would/could just eat that there each trip and nothing else.

I asked once last year about this but never did find out a definite answer....some people have said they could and others said that it wasnt possible.......Now between that soup, pretzel bread and the mini donuts at Typhoon lagoon I would be a happy camper........

GENERALLY no, you can't. Sometimes, if they aren't too busy (rare these days for Le Cellier) you can.

Epcot restaurants stopped doing take out several years ago officially because of capacity problems. Of course, its Disney, they try not to say no if they can say yes - but Le Cellier's kitchen is not up to extra capacity to do take out orders - even for soup.

If you could,I don't know but I may ask on my next trip.:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

Once when I was waiting to be seated (last summer), I saw a guest ask a CM for a take-out order. The CM said it wasn't available and the guest insisted that her sister told her she had done it before. The CM still said it wasn't available....this was still going on as I was being seated...

Well....

If you happen to be at WDW anytime between the last weekend of September and the first week or two of November....

The food and wine festival kiosk for Canada will have the soup. It has been there every single time I've been to the festival, so if for some odd reason it's not there this year....I'm toast.

I found that it's the best when the kiosks first open after 11am. And if the cast member tries to pawn off half a ladle into the cup, kindly ask them to fill it to the top, since you paid for a full cup. ;)

I can't help you about that pretzel bread. I would love to have some of that with my soup!

 I have often thought/said to my dd that if Canada would have a kiosk type thing like some of the other countries do and serve that bread and soup....IT WOULD BE SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. I bet they could not keep up with the demand for it or maybe they think their restaurant business might be affected. But I doubt that since it is so hard to get into. I hope that one day MY CHEESE SOUP KIOSK WILL BECOME A REALITY ..not just during food and wine. pixiedust:
