I had to change drs for my last baby so I asked moms in the area that we moved into and I also asked about peds and got a great recommendations from the ped that I choose. If they tell you that you will have to wait x amount of time for an appointment I bet that if you tell them you are pregnant and just moved to the area that they can get you in. Good Luck!

I wouldn't let moving change your plans about getting pregnant. What I would do however is to start calling Drs in the area you will be moving to and let them know that you may be in in the middle of your 2nd trimester, but that you are planning to move and will need a new Dr. Drs aren't going to turn you away because you are half way there....people move all the time mid-pregnancy. Moves do happen. Just be sure to plan accordingly...moving is stressful, and being pregnant and moving would be even more stressful!
