We have tickets to a spring training game for kansas city in Davenport at baseball city in March. Has anyone ever gone there? How is the stadium? Will it take ling to get there from the disney area? We tried for Yankee or Atlanta tickets but they were grass seating only. It will be out 5 yr old's first game and are really looking forward to it. Any advise would be great? Thanks! <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz">

I have never been to the park it self but have been by it many times. It isabout 20 minutes (approx) from disney. Its right off I-4and there is a big sign outside the park so you wont miss it. When you get off the exit go to your left and you'll cross over the highway. I have done this many times to go over to winter Haven where the Boston Red Sox used to train and where the Cleveland Indians now train.

About grass seating at Braves games depending what time you get into the park, there is 3 or 4 rows of seats ( folding chairs) that are for gras seating ticket holders . These are on a first come first use basis but you can leave something on the seats to save them. Or just swap off with each other to save the seats. The area is great before the games as many of the players from the visiting teams do throwing and stretching on the grass in front of the seats on the field .
I sat in these seats with my parents last year and had a great time.
