I notice on December 14th MK Closes at 6pm and MVMCP starts at 7PM. Wishes is at 6PM

Is it possible to have and ADR at say 6:15pm? so when you are finished dinner the MVMCP has started?

Yes. You will find that nights that have a MVMCP or MNSSHP are almost impossible to get reservations for because people do just as your suggesting.

If you don't already have a PS get one now :thumbsup2

if you have not booked dinner inside MK for MVMCP night, you might have a difficult time doing so. many times are already booked prior to party beginning. good luck!

I've been calling to get an early dinner ADR at LTT for Dec. 12 (we will be attending MVMCP that night), and I've been told that the whole night is booked up there at LTT. I did make an ADR at LTT for the previous Sunday, so at least we'll be able to eat there (but it just won't be as convenient.

It's really incredible to me that some restaurants are booked solid this far in advance. I guess the rediculously early bird catches the worm  .

:wave2:

We did this last December by booking the Plaza Restaurant for their last seating around 5:30. After dinner we just walked over to wait for the first show at the Galaxy theater I think it is....No one really even checked our band.

WE have ADR's on the 21st for Crystal Palace at 6:15. We have tickets to the MVMCP that same night so we are doing pretty much the same thing that you are asking. Also DH's Birthday, so should be a great time... :sunny:

Not only is it possible, but I would highly recommend doing just that.

For my upcoming solo trip (see dates below), I have made a reservation at 6:30 at Tony's Town Square Resturant for Tuesday, November 28, with a ticket for the Christmas Party as well.

When I called for the reservation, the CM on the phone said that reservations for the time I wanted (6:30 pm), were not available; but when I mentioned that I had purchased a ticket for the Party he said, "Oh, OK then, let me check." After a brief check, he said "6:30 at Tony's, here's your conformation number."

You can do it too.

Enjoy.

Just so you know, they are not closing Disney at 6pm like they used to before MVMCP. Everyone gets to stay until 7pm. Don't know who decided that, but it will certainly make things more difficult for people like me who will be going this year. They will be doing fireworks at 6pm and then I guess they will try to get everyone without wristbands to start leaving at 7pm, but I'm sure quite a few will not go and try to stay as long as possible.

This confuses me. Why would they shows Wishes 2x??

Based on past history, they won't show Wishes at 6pm but only the special one during the party.

If you check the website you'll see that on the nights of the parties they are open until 7pm and if you look at their calendar link you'll see that they still have Wishes scheduled for 6pm. I've seen this on other forums and from what I can see, the information is accurate. I know in the past they closed at 6pm, I was there in '04, but for some crazy reason, they have changed their minds about how to go about running this party. Hopefully, someone will realize that it will never work and go back to the original format.

We have 6:30 ADRs at LTT the night of MVMCP. Last time we just showed up for the party, so I'm interested to see how this will work.

Okay, the only ADR I could get after wishes but before MVMCP was at Tony's.

I have never eaten here before based on poor reviews, is it any better than it was?

Thanks

I'm just going by the schedule the concierge sent me. One wishes at 6pm. :confused3
