...while you were down at WDW?

I wanted to book now for our visit the last week in August. DH wants to wait until we get there, check out weather on certain days, etc. Do you think we'll have a problem getting a tour? I know they have three tours every morning but do they all sell out?

Thanks!!

It is a very popular tour and usually sells out during busy times of the year. It is a WONDERFUL tour....one I have taken several times and am planning on doing again next year with my niece. The tour, while basically the same, is different with the interpretation of each individual tour guide.

In my opinion....this is one not to miss out on.

We booked it when we were there this past April for a date the same week I called. I don't know if it was luck or what, but the parks were extremely busy then too. Our tour was completely filled, not sure how many they take, and the tour before us had even less people.

One trip, I tried to book it while at WDW and it was not available any of the days I wanted it. I think it was in October though. I would say book it now and then cancel if you change your mind (it can be cancelled with no penalty if done at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled day)

I tried to book it while there (and staying concierge) on a trip in December (not the busy week) and was unable to get it so I would book in advance!

There's no harm in checking availability before you leave and then booking once you are at the park. The other thing is, try to book the first tour of the day (8:30 a.m.). It tends to be a smaller group and you may have a better chance getting in on a tour group. If you're flexible with the day and the time, you may have more luck. Have a wonderful trip!

Well I already have it booked for sept... I agree with booking it now and cancle if its not gonna work for you. As a pp said you can cancle and get a full refund within 48 hours of your tour. If you have your heart set on it then it is better to be safe then sorry.

I have already booked this tour for the first week in Dec. ;) I wanted an 8:30 slot so I figured my best bet to get it was to book early.

Like others have said, you can cancel without penalty if you do it 48 hours prior to the tour start time.

We booked it 5 minutes after it started one weekend day and had to run to catch up with them. So it really depends on when you are going but we've had luck last minute.

Great tour!

In October of 2003, I called from my cell phone while at Universal Studios (don't know why the idea hit me while we were there - I guess I missed Disney! :earsgirl: ) and booked the KTTK tour for the following day. :cool1:
