I'm always told that he can be found in the France pavilion, but we have never had any luck seeing him. Just curious how many have been lucky enough to get a pic with him?

Yup, several times. A couple times, Beauty and the Beast were both in the little garden behind the perfumerie. One time they were inside the library. One time they were in the front of the fountains.

Once when they were in the little garden, there wasn't a soul around for at least 10 minutes, because we were able to just have them to ourselves, which was great as DH is a big big BATB fan.

We met Belle and the Beast in France this past December. They were in the library doing a meet and greet. The library is on the right hand side of the pavallion right behind the perfume store (I can't remember the name of the store). There is a red sign with Mickey's hand above the entrance to the library indicating that it's a meet and greet area. Good luck with meeting the Beast next time you go!

Yes. We found Beast near Chef De France about 4:00pm in October! My son was in awe of him! Good luck - he's one of the hardest to locate.

Yep got my pic with Beast and Belle at the pavilion. there was a sign that said what times he would be there. Too bad he's just a black blob in the pic
:(

We saw Belle & Beast in the library in France in the late afternoon last October. The stained glass window they stand in front of is definitely lovely, but it is horrible for pictures! Someone should suggest they reposition for pictures so that they aren't just dark outlines!

We saw him here, too. It made the trip for DS! He's always been trying to find him! But be forewarned - HE'S LARGE!!!!

We have seen him several times outside the pavillion in France.

We have seen the beast here on all our trips to, I think that he may rotate during the day as sometimes when we call past France we have seen both Belle and Beast together, Belle on her own and in July we found Belle posing with Sleeping Beauty in the little library room, good luck finding him and happy hunting ::MinnieMo

I wish they would give Belle her Prince, instead of having her go around with that Beast all the time. LOL He's much better looking than the Beast. And that IS how the movie ended up, with him being a Prince, so why is he a Beast again? Huh? explain that one to me! LOL

I agree BluOrchid 2...where are those princes at anyways? a princess needs her prince its such a shame we don't get to see a lot of them in disney world ::MinnieMo

I haven't seen the Beast since the first time I went way back in 1995. I do remember that was the highlight of the entire trip for me! That costume is just massive...

We'll be there at the end of the month so I'm hoping to get another picture with the Beast! (I lost the picture when I divorced my ex...lol)

I was sitting in the garden area, back by Guerlain, and talking to a friend on my cell phone. The wooden gate in front of me suddenly swung open and out walked the Beast! He saw me on the phone, stalked me for a few seconds, then pounced and gave me a hug. I wish I'd taken a picture with him.

Yes, A few times in the flower garden in France.

It took me 4 trips to EPCOT on my trip last Sept to find the Beast. I finally found him and Belle in the flower garden in France.

we got him alot in france with belle check the libary we got him there a few times and that little pavilion behind it we got him there a few times i also got that funny dude from notre dame in france :cool1:

Ditto for us....library in France. We first stopped in and chatted with Belle by herself. She told my kids after spending a lot of time with them that she needed to go, she was off to find the Beast and then they would both be back together after 20 minutes! So....we headed off to the Kidcot station, had a snack and were back in the library lurking about in 15 minutes. We did get some odd looks from those that didn't know what we were doing (why are those people standing in line....there's no one over there? :confused3 :rotfl2: ) But when the Beast came hulking in, they all definately changed their attitude and hopped in line too! :teeth:

Beast is huge! DD3 was scared and wouldn't even go over, but Belle came, knelt down, and explained how "remember how in my movie, the Beast became very gentle and friendly?" We have a very cute pic of that scene, and then one of Beast, DS5, and Belle holding DD's hand as far away from him as she could be. She still talks about how Belle made her not scared! :goodvibes

We also found him in December completely by accident! We were near the back part of the France Pavillion and my husband just happened to look to the right through an arch in a building and he was back in there---I guess it's a garden---it was our first time to WDW so I don't know the names of the places...sorry

We saw him on our last visit. We missed Belle though. For those of you who are talking about Belle having her prince. Think about it this way. She originally fell in love with the Beast. Maybe that's why.

We have always found him in the library in France. The first time we were walking in France and my sister saw the stained glass window that has the rose on it. She said, "Doesn't that window look exactly like the one in Beauty & the Beast". We then both realized what it was and ran around the corner. Both Beast and Belle were there and my dd was so excited to get her picture with him. He is very very large, but he is conscious of young children and that he may be frightening so he is very good to let children approach him first instead of going to them. :wizard:
