Has anyone else still not finished their Christmas shopping?

not yet, still got a few presents to buy and have done no food shopping at all. Finished getting DD presents yesterday after a mad dash to the trafford centre and toys r us. Though there is also an art set I am thinking of getting her too.

I ordered 2 laptops last thursday, the delivery date said in the email next wednesday, but they were delivered the next day!!!so just look out for the city link van, yours may be delivered alot earlier than they have said!

:lmao:

Thanks Jeanette :thumbsup2 .x.

We also keep buying even when we think we have finished we see something and think Bex will like that !!!!

Even though we have finished i always end up still buying for the girls if there is something on offer.Dd3's birthday is only 5 weeks after Christmas so it comes in handy for then.x.

I always get my main food shop the day before Christmas Eve.But started getting little items, like crackers for cheese, chocs, crackers, drink, pickles etc..about a month ago-just buy a couple of extra things each week in the weekly shop.x.

I've finished Christmas shopping but it's my youngest DD 5th birthday next Saturday and I haven't even started for that. She doesn't know what she wants but I know what all my relatives have bought her for Christmas and there's nothing left she hasn't got!

I've still got lots of wrapping to do. I did lots on Saturday night while watching X factor and having a glass (or 2) of wine. I had to pack it in when I saw the state of the wrapping one of the presents! :rotfl: I did apologize on the label explaining "sorry - i was terribly drunk!" :lmao:

I was like that with my niece & nephew. I have stopped now as I spent all afternoon wrapping all the presents. I will keep a couple back for my niece's birthday, although by the time her birthday comes around I will have found other things to buy:rotfl2:

Only started today, spent 5 hours in town and only came home with 2 x PS2 consoles, a snowglobe and a calendar!!!

I hate shopping at the best of times and Christmas is just the worst!

DH is a nightmare to buy for, he absolutely wants nothing and the kids this year haven't asked for anything except DS wants a police outfit and DD wants a DS game!

I will probably buy loads of stuff on Christmas Eve!

We have just taken DD back to work she has already worked 1 til 5 and has been forced by her manager to work 8 til midnight. Who would want to go shopping at midnight. Me and her dad are furious because we have got to fetch her, i was asked but refused.

Why is she being forced? does she have set hours in her contract?

Her contract hours are 1 til 5 monday to friday but her manager has done his bully boy tactics on her. The problem is they go for the young ones because they don't feel like they can say no, unlike me who would tell him where to go!!!!

well weve had a lot going on so its been hard, i have done some but i cant get myself into the christmas spirit, ive only got the tree up for the kids, otherwise i wouldnt have bothered, it breaks my heart to think of walking away and going home from isabelle on christmas eve:sad1:

I soon learnt how to do that at work, after being walked over. She can refuse as her contract states her hours, there would only be a problem if she was on a flexible contract.

Same here, I know he has my birthday early december but why doesn't he just buy both gifts during the one expedition :confused3 :lmao: or is that too easy? Now he's moaning that he doesn't know what to get:rolleyes:

Done all mine - all on-line and via Quidco, so not only didn't have to suffer the crowded shops but I made about £20 in cash back :thumbsup2
