Has anyone else lost points on Disney Movie Rewards?

I know, know, KNOW I had 1810 points two weeks ago. I was looking at the rewards worth 1775 to see if had anything I wanted but they didn't. Today, I look though and there is now only 1535! I called and they swear no points were redeemed or expired and I looked on-line and didn't see any of that, but how did I mysteriously lose almost 300 points? I have only the one account. Anyone else ever come across this?
 
I just looked at mine also and I think I have lost some points also. I can not be 100% sure but I think I have lost about 150 pts...
 
The points do expire...I keep a close eye on mine because I lost a lot once....I asked them about it and they did credit me all the points I was missing but they had no reason other than "expiration" as to why they were gone.....
 
Mine didn't expire. I specifically called to ask and they said there was no expiration of points. I'm still really confused!
 

to enter a code. I didn't have many 500 or so but still....so irritated. I emailed but who knows...I wish I knew how many I had.
 
I lost alot of points and when I called, they told me that the points did expire. They gave me a few back but not all of them. Now I just hold all of the papers until I get enough to order a specific item.
 
I think the rewards points expiring might be a new thing in the last few months... I sort of remember reading something coming about that. They def... did NOT used to expire but like everything else.. i think they changed their fine print. :sad2:

Your points do expire if you haven't logged in for quite some time. I have copied in below the specific information pertaining to this from the DMR site.

Your points may expire if you have not had any activity for 270 days. “Activity” is defined as logging in to your account at least once.
 
I know for a fact my points did not expire - I talked to customer service and they confirmed I had no points expire - they just mysteriously disappeared.

Isn't it odd that we're all losing about the same amount of points??? :confused3

Yup, they DO expire. This is what happened to me, I had to call because I couldn't log in, they said my points had expired due to not logging in. They couldn't tell me why I couldn't log in, my log in info was correct but it wouldn't work for whatever reason. Anyway, when we got off the phone I was able to log in and then a few days later my points were put back in my account.
I find it interesting that 3 people have confirmed they do expire yet radiofanatic was told they don't.....

people must misunderstand me. I was told that points do expire, but none of mine did. She specifically looked to see if some of MY points had expired and none had. Sorry for the confusion.
 
I just checked and all my points are there. I just used 700 in December, so hopefully they 'use the oldest first' if there is an expiry on them now.
 
I just logged in yesterday and got a couple of rewards as of then my account was NOT missing any points. Actually, I have never lost any points.
 
Thanks for this. I think I lost around 60 as well. I went ahead and ordered a set of movies DD wanted to use most of what I have.
 
Well, I lost all of mine! Had a couple thousand! Just sent an email. We'll see. I think it is rediculous that they would let your points expire without sending a courtesy email with a little warning. More Disney bad customer service. Boooooo!

This really isn't a big deal to me, but will be for my kids as they have been "saving up" for something big.
 
Where does it say on the site that points expire? Ive looked everywhere. You'd think it would be under my DMR but I don't see it??
 
well I dont know if they expire...but they do disappear...like magic. Cant wait to see how many are gone now

They only expire if you haven't logged into your account for 270 days. I've had points expire this way.:sad2: If you log into your online account and click on My DMR, it will show if any points have expired. As you can see below, I had 600 points expire in Dec '08. I hadn't entered a code since Feb-08-08.
