Has anyone else found the Geocache at DL?

When we were at DL in June my nephew was playing around in some leaves (with his hand) while we were waiting for others in our group to exit the restroom. He found a geocache and I think we were the first ones to find it, other than the person who put it there. Just wondering if anyone else has since found it or if anyone going soon would like to check and see if its still there. Also I wonder if a gardener found it if it would be thrown out or left alone.

If you don't know what a geocache is, its some sort of container and if you find it you take something out and leave something behind for the next people to find. Also there was a paper to sign your name.

This particular one was very small, sort of like a small prescription bottle. As you enter DL and pass under the railroad station, it was on your right hand side, behind a fence buried in the leaves. It was just before that walkway that leads down to the restrooms.

I've read about geocaches, but haven't played - don't you have some type of gps reader thingy and follow the instructions to these? I read it on a website one day.... http://www.geocaching.com/

and I understand that there are some buried there @ Disneyland. How cool that you found one. We're going to Disneyland today - I'll see if it's still there.

I hope you find it Mary Jo! If you haven't left yet, its in the leaves/fence area right out in the main "aisle", not down the area leading to the bathroom at all. At least that's where it was when we found it!

Oh, and I think people who are really into this Geocache game do have to have GPS systems to find them. We were lucky enough to just stumble upon it by accident. My SIL didn't know what it was and thought we should turn it in to lost & found!

I left one of my treasured Band-Aid Blister Blockers in the container and my DS put his Autopia drivers license in there. Its such a small container it was hard finding something that would fit!
