Has anyone driven across the Canadian/American border lately?

We're leaving soon for Canada to visit with family and I'm getting a little concerned about running into trouble. I mean, we hardly appear to be anything dangerous. Big white minivan with a hawaiian Mickey antenna topper, a "Been There Done That Going Back!" bumper sticker, American flag sticker, and 2 crazy kids. ;) We usually never run into any trouble going into Canada, in fact one time they didn't even ask for ID!

I'm just conerned with the war going on and some feelings about Americans we might have problems. My husband is Canadian so perhaps not. I'm just a big worry wart about everything else so why not this. Was just wondering if anyone else had crossed the border either way recently and how was it?

Thanks for the link Dan!

Luckily we are going way west and go across the border in North Dakota. Out there they just seem happy to see a live person and we're usually the only car coming up to the border. :) It is definitely the middle of nowhere! One time a guy just sat there and chatted with us, I think the poor guy was lonely out of his mind! LOL ;)
