No, but we took the St John River Cruise and absolutely loved it. We saw manatees, alligators and many birds we had never seen before. Great staff, very informative.

Yes, my mom and I did it back in 2007 and it was lovely. The gentleman that does it is just a guy who loves people and the water. We loved every second of it.

We did it on our honeymoon and it was really fun and entertaining. The park is beautiful and the tour was relaxing.

Did it a couple of years ago with my mom and my kids. We had a great time. Then walked the streets and shops in Winter Park and had a nice lunch. It was a great day.

The Scenic Boat Tour is a big departure from the hustle/bustle theme park world. Very quaint, old Florida ride between the lakes. Sit up front so you don't miss anything that your driver/tour narrator has to say.

The St. Johns River Cruise that TrustedTraveler mentioned is a terrific two-hour nature cruise that goes out into the St. Johns River from Blue Spring State Park up in Orange City - about an hour's drive up I-4 from the Disney area. Well worth doing if you have half a day to devote to the travel, the cruise, and seeing the manatees in the spring waters (in season, about mid-November to early/mid-March for the manatees).

We went last summer and had a wonderful time (3yo & 4yo boys). Be sure to wear your sunscreen and be careful with any hats (the lady in front of us lost her hat). And Park Avenue (a couple streets down from the boat tours) in Winter Park has great shops and wonderful places to eat. Hope you have a fantastic time!
