We are considering purchasing the Tommorowland Skyline Lounge Experience. There will be four adults. We will be going in May so the price will increase to $50.00. My questions are: How early do we need to arrive in order to get a good seat to see the fireworks? Does anyone have photos of the "Boxed Treat" and the view from the seating area? Any experiences your willing to share?

there is a food blogger, his channel is Magic Journey ,, he goes mostly into Disneyland and critiques Disney food.. sometimes he will do other parks, but he and his girlfriend mostly do Disney.. these vlogs he calls Wonderful World of Food. !

He did one of their Sky Lounge just recently.

His take away was it was ok. the food was good.. A cheese spread and crackers , fruit .and some petite pastries /cakes. , water , juice , coke. tea , coffee.
it had the 2 hr window ,where you could come and go,
they had games and light sabers to play with.
Minnie and Mickey came round for photo ops.
The night they went they canceled the fireworks.. to muggy and windy so keep that in mind..
they felt they would have gotten better value for money if they had been able to access the area for longer periods of the day .

When I did it, the seating areas were all preassigned. It didn't matter what you time you got there. They already knew where everyone would be seated. It was a poor value for 40/per person. I can't believe they are raising the fee to $50.

Considering how often fireworks get cancelled, I'd be very hesitant to add this experience at $50 per person. I'd rather put that money toward a Fantasmic! dining package or other special treat. I haven't done the experience though, so this is just my opinion.

When they first announced the Skyline Lounge, before I had all the details, I assumed it would be open most of the day. They were playing up the "come and go as you please" aspect of it and I thought, if it provides a quiet place with comfy chairs and refreshments it could be really great, especially for people who get overwhelmed in the parks and usually need a mid-day break. But if it's only open for two hours, (1) what are the chances that it will be at the exact time you need a break and (2) everyone else will be using the lounge at the same time so it will be more crowded. I read a review recently that said no tables were available so they had to sit on ottomans and balance their food on their laps. At that point it's really just a fireworks viewing location with snacks, and since they don't give refunds when fireworks are cancelled and it's not even the most optimum viewing spot, I don't see how it's worth it. Granted, I haven't tried it so maybe it's much nicer than I'm imagining.
